Javier Ignacio Álvarez Arteaga brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record to Orlando City Soccer School Poinciana as the Senior Head Coach Coordinator. With over three decades in professional soccer as a player, head coach, and technical director, Javier has led top-tier teams across Colombia, Panama, and Ecuador. His leadership includes championship titles, qualifications to prestigious tournament including:
- South American U-18 Championship (1997) – Head Coach of Colombia's U-18 National Team in Pedro Juan Caballero, Paraguay.
- South American U-20 Championship (1999) – Colombia National Delegate in Tandil, Argentina.
- South American U-18 Tournament (1999) – Colombia National Delegate in Rivera, Uruguay.
- Nissan South American Cup Qualification (2005-2006) – Led Deportivo Independiente Medellín to continental competition.
- Colombian Primera División Championship (2009) – Head Coach of Once Caldas, winning the league title and qualifying for the Copa Libertadores.
