Notable achievements include winning Copa Colombia (2019 and 2021) and competing in prestigious competitions such as Copa Libertadores (2020-2023) and Copa Sudamericana (2022).

Skilled in team leadership, tactical planning, and program management, with a focus on building effective processes and making data-driven decisions for sustained success. Adept at fostering core principles of teamwork, sportsmanship, and long-term development in both student-athletes and professional soccer players. Motivated to continue growing within the soccer industry, bringing a passion for mentoring athletes and developing strategies that ensure both individual and team success.

Our Sporting Director at Orlando City Soccer School Poinciana, brings extensive experience as a former Colombian academy player. His playing youth career includes time with top Colombian clubs Independiente Santa Fe and Millonarios F.C.

With a strong background in youth soccer, J.P. has also gained valuable experience in Central Florida, where he has contributed to the growth of youth soccer programs. He holds USSF and South American Coaching licenses and is currently pursuing his  USSF B license to further enhance his expertise.

J.P. brings a wealth of experience to Orlando City Soccer School Poinciana, particularly in developing youth players across both competitive and recreational pathways. His approach focuses on empowering players to make decisions on the field, fostering a love for the sport, and creating an environment where learning becomes an enjoyable and natural process. By supporting the coaching staff with the most effective methodology, J.P. ensures that our players have the tools to thrive and grow—both as athletes and as individuals.
